Stowe, Vermont:
Stowe Mountain Resort is located on Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak at 4,395 feet above sea level and the Resort's recent improvements reinforce the resort as the East's most premier mountain experience, year-round.
The 200 year old quaint village of Stowe offers a variety of hotels for everyone's needs alongside many activities year-round with great shopping, entertainment, ski shops for your equipment while in town.
60 tasty restaurants offer everything from home-cooking to gourmet cuisine... In New England, only Boston and Providence boast more award-winning dining establishments than this quaint town. Stowe has all you need for an unforgettable holiday! Although this is a smallish town the Après-ski offers something for with an understated New England charm.
The resort offers a variety of terrain spread out over two distinct mountains. SprucePeak offers intermediate and novice terrain, while Mt.Mansfield offers terrain for all ability levels. In total, Stowe has 118 trails with each trail averaging nearly a mile in length, which is double the average trail length of any other resort in the East.
The infamous Front Four trails (Starr, Goat, National and Lift Line) are arguably the most exciting runs in the East. For the novice skiers and riders, there's an entire mountain (SprucePeak) criss-crossed with easygoing runs.

Its elevation and northern location provide the only lift serviced above-tree lined skiing in the East, Sugarloaf is massive, with 1,400 skiable acres, including 651 acres and 54 miles of developed trails, all serviced by 16 lifts, including two high speed and two high capacity quads.
