The resort offers a variety of terrain spread out over two distinct mountains.
SprucePeak offers intermediate and novice terrain, while Mt.Mansfield offers terrain for all ability levels. In total, Stowe has 118 trails with each trail averaging nearly a mile in length, which is double the average trail length of any other resort in the East.
 
The infamous Front Four trails (Starr, Goat, National and Lift Line) are arguably the most exciting runs in the East. For the novice skiers and riders, there's an entire mountain (SprucePeak) criss-crossed with easygoing runs.
