Itinerary
DAY 1 – UK – BOSTON.
Enjoy your complimentary V.I.P Door to Door transfer to your departure airport before your scheduled flight to Boston, where a complimentary transfer is provided to your first hotel. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to welcome you and answer your questions. Join us at 6 p.m. for a Welcome Reception at the hotel.

DAY 2 – BOSTON – BAR HARBOR.
After a brief orientation tour of Boston, journey north through New Hampshire and enter Maine. Stop in historic Portlandbefore heading to Mount Desert Islandand the quintessential New England fishing village of Bar Harbor. This evening feast on a traditional Maine lobster dinner.

DAY 3 – ACADIA NATIONAL PARK EXCURSION.
Take in the beauty of AcadiaNational Park with its dramatic rocky shoreline, beaver ponds and spectacular views from the top of Cadillac Mountain. Then explore Bar Harbor on your own, enjoying quaint shops, galleries and superb views, or perhaps take an optional nature or whale watching cruise. (B)
DAY 4 – BAR HARBOR – HALIFAX.
Board The CAT, the fastest ferry in North America. Enjoy the eateries and amenities aboard this stylish catamaran as you cross the Bay of Fundyto Nova Scotia. Then motor along the beautiful rocky coastline, dotted with picturesque fishing villages to Halifax, the province’s dynamic capital.

DAY 5 – HALIFAX SIGHTSEEING.
Enjoy a city tour of Halifax including the Public Gardens, waterfront and Spring Garden Road, and learn about the Halifax Explosion and the city’s connection to the Titanic. Visit the Citadel National Historic site offering superb panoramic views. The rest of the day is at leisure. Perhaps join an optional excursion to the picture-perfect village of Peggy’s Cove. (B)
DAY 6 – HALIFAX – INGONISH BEACH.
Bid farewell to Halifax and continue north along the scenic coastline. Stop at SherbrookeVillage, a restored 1860’s settlement with more than 80 buildings depicting a typical Nova Scotian historic village. Then cross the narrow CansoStrait to scenic Cape Breton Islandand continue to your hotel, superbly located on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

DAY 7 – CABOT TRAIL & CAPE BRETON HIGHLANDS NATIONAL PARK EXCURSION.
Travel to beautiful Brasd’Or Lake and visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, where you learn about the great innovator’s life and inventions. Then journey along the Cabot Trail, one of the world’s most scenic drives offering stunning vistas of rust-coloured cliffs and deep blue ocean waters. Enter Cape Breton Highlands National Park, an exceptional wilderness area where moose are often spotted among the lakes and streams. (B)
DAY 8 – INGONISH BEACH – PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND.
Head for picturesque Pictou, renowned as the "Birthplace of New Scotland" as it was here that the first wave of Scottish immigrants landed in 1773. Cross the Northumberland Strait to Prince Edward Island. Enjoy the landscape of vivid colours and rolling hills, sandy beaches and red sandstone cliffs as you make your way to the Maritimes’ most luxurious resort, overlooking the island’s panoramic sandy beaches. Relax and enjoy the resort’s facilities.

DAY 9 – PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND EXCURSION.
Visit Founders’ Hall and learn about Canada’s history, then enjoy a guided walking tour of graceful Charlottetown. Head up the north shore to the wind-sculpted sand dunes,beautiful beaches and broad inlets of Prince Edward Island National Park. Take a guided tour of Green Gables, the farm house that inspired the setting for Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables. This evening relax at the resort, or perhaps attend an optional performance of the popular musical Anne of Green Gables. (B)
DAY 10 – PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND – ST. ANDREWS-BY-THE-SEA.
This morning drive across the modern 12.9km long Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick and stop at the Hopewell Rocks in the Bay of Fundy to view the unusual flower-pot shaped islands. In St. John, view the amazing Reversing Falls and continue to beautiful St. Andrews-by-the-Sea and your elegant Tudor-style resort. This evening select one of the resort’s excellent restaurants offering varying cuisine and ambiance for your dining pleasure.

DAY 11 – ST. ANDREWS-BY-THE-SEA – KENNEBUNKPORT.
Back in the United States, visit Bangor and admire the cityscape, much of it listed on the National Register of Historic Places. On arrival at the delightful coastal resort of Kennebunkport, journey along the scenic Ocean Drive with stunning views of the coastline and great mansions, including the famous Bush Family Compound. Tonight enjoy a farewell dinner at your charming inn.

DAY 12 – KENNEBUNKPORT – BOSTON.
Enjoy more stunning coastline and picturesque coastal villages on the way to Salem, home to the infamous Salem Witch Trials. Board a narrated trolley and discover a colourful coastal city, rich in maritime heritage, historic architecture and amazing stories. The tour comes to an end with a complimentary transfer to Boston International Airport for your overnight flight back to the UK or the Insight hotel in Boston for passengers extending their stay. (B)
DAY 13– ARRIVE UK.
On arrival at your UK airport, your driver will greet you and escort you to your waiting car for your return V.I.P door to door transfer home.
