ROCKPORT was settled in 1690 and lies just 37 miles from Boston. A host of interesting shops and galleries are located on Bearskin Neck and surrounding Rockport’s charming harbour, which is still home to an active fishing fleet. Rockport is one of the country’s oldest artist colonies and boasts some of the most widely painted seaside landscapes in the world.
Located in Rockport's sought after South End, you are just a minute's walk to the Atlantic Ocean coastline where you can see Rockport's twin lighthouses on historic Thatcher Island.
