The Noble New Hampshire tour shows you all of what the State of New Hampshire has to offer from the stunning coast to the majestic lakes and White mountains region, no matter what season
you visit in you will find the State of New Hampshire offers diversity and an endless variety of things to do and see.
Day 1: Boston, Massachusetts
Incorporated as a town in 1630, and as a city in 1822, Boston is one of America’s oldest cities, with a rich economic and social history to match. Since its beginnings as a homesteading community, it
has evolved into a centre for social and political change and is now the economic and cultural hub of New England.
In a city filled with interesting things to see and do, the historic Freedom Trail is the highlight of Boston for many visitors. The 2.5 mile red brick walking trail leads you to 16 nationally
significant historic sites, everyone an authentic American treasure. Preserved and dedicated by the citizens of Boston in 1958, when the wrecking ball threatened several important places, the Freedom
Trail today is a unique collection of museums, churches, meeting houses, burying grounds, parks, a ship, and historic markers that tell the story of the American Revolution.
You can walk the Trail yourself, or take one of the many guided tours available through the National Park Service. Tours begin every half hour from the park visitor centre at 15 State Street opposite
the Old State House. If you prefer to ride, you can take a trolley tour, which is an unofficial guided tour, but does include many of the most important sites along the Trail including Old Ironsides,
the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church. Plan to stop and eat at Faneuil Hall, once the primary meeting place for America’s revolutionaries. It is now a bustling market of restaurants and
shops
Day 2
If you were unable to experience a portion of the Freedom Trail yesterday, you can complete that journey today before choosing from the myriad possibilities for exploring that Boston offers. There
are always a variety of fascinating exhibits at the Boston Museum of Science. Cheers, of the famous television show, is located on Beacon Hill. The Sam Adams Brewery is a recent addition, founded in
1984. The Boston Museum of Arts, founded in 1876, has an outstanding, world-renowned collection that includes some 450,000 items. The New England Aquarium offers special whale watching trips
until October. There’s also the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, Newberry Street, with some of the best antiquing in America, and Cambridge, MA, home of Harvard University, right across the
river.

A 20-minute movie showcasing beautiful Franconia Notch State Park is available for viewing. Continue onto Jefferson which is situated on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest.
Day 6
Today head into the far Northern New Hampshire region - Keep your eyes straight ahead, though. Most of New Hampshire's estimated 4,000 moose know that the Great North Woods Region is the
place to roam, and you don't want to literally run into one. "Moose Alley"—the stretch of Route 3 between Pittsburg, New Hampshire, and the Canadian border—is New England's most notorious roadway for
encountering these magnificent creatures. Slow down, and enjoy this vast, natural expanse, where every road is a back road and—when you leave the pavement behind—there are more than a thousand miles
of rugged OHRV trails for winter snowmobiling or summer ATVing. The Great North Woods is famous for its “Ride the Wilds” network of interconnected trails crisscrossing the region's wild terrain, and
rentals are readily available if you want to give off-roading a try.
An outdoorsperson's paradise, the Great North Woods and its daisychain of glacial lakes at the headwaters of the Connecticut River offersguide services that cater to those who've come to hike, canoe,
hunt, or fish. Even if you're not the type to readily trade your electronic devices for a backpack, paddle or rod, you'll relish being away from the land of overwhelming e-mail and incessant text
messages. Train your camera lens on an eagle soaring overhead. Tour uncrowded yet remarkable historic attractions. Listen to real sounds. Reset your biorhythm.
2 nights in Jefferson at the Jefferson Inn (Includes Breakfast):
The inn provides guests with a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. The two sitting rooms offer a mix of antique, reproduction, and new furnishings. Original oils by Hargrove and numbered/signed prints by Wooster Scott, Wythe, and others grace the walls. A cable TV is available to check the weather or the score of the big game. The cupboards contain an abundance of board games for all agesn and an ample selection of books are available on a wide range of subjects. The dining room has a warm, intimate atmosphere. The breakfast experience includes bird watching, mountain views and music.
Each of the Inn's eleven guest rooms is decorated with period antiques, coordinated with quilts and art work.In the winter, flannel sheets add comfort and warmth. All guest rooms have private baths including three with antique footed tubs.
Days 7: Jackson, New Hampshire (80 Miles)
Head back into the White Mountains today by backtracking your journey slightly towards North Woodstock along Highway 3, then making a left turn to pick up and driver the stunning The Kancamagus
Highway, also known as "The Kanc," is often misspelled and mis-pronounced Kangamangus Highway, Kangumangus Hiway or Kancamangus Highway. The correct way pronounce Kancamagus is
"Kank-ah-mah-gus." The Kancamagus Highway is a 34.5 mile scenic drive along NH's Rt. 112 in Northern New Hampshire that is well known as one of the best Fall Foliage viewing areas in the
country. The Kancamagus Highway is now designated an American Scenic Byway for its rich history, aesthetic beauty and culture.
The Kancamagus Scenic Byway takes you through a path cut through the White Mountain National Forest with breathtaking views of the White Mountains, the Swift River, Sabbaday Falls, Lower
Falls and Rocky Gorge. The Kanc takes you to an elevation of just under 3,000 feet at its highest point at Kancamagus Pass on the flank of Mt. Kancamagus near Lincoln, NH. The drive
along the Kancamagus Highway takes you back in time as you drive through a forest that offers no comforts of the modern day world; no gas stations, no restaurants, hotels or other businesses have
pierced their way into the heart of the Kancamagus Highway - take you time stopping taking photos you will remember for a lifetime before heading to your accommodation in Jackson.
Day 8
Today its time to go up into the clouds ! At 6,288 feet, Mount Washington is the highest peak in the northeast. No wonder New Hampshire's soaring White Mountains are a huge attraction. Enjoy stunning views from the summit: drive up the Auto Road or take the world’s first mountain-climbing Cog Railway.
The White Mountains Region is also a land of laidback pursuits. Peruse the menu of spa treatments at Christmas Farm. You are just a hop and a skip away in Littleton, your favorite childhood
treats are among the sweets displayed at Chutters, home of the Guinness-certified longest candy counter in the world.
Sip fresh beer at one of our craft breweries. Make children's eyes light up at Story Land, Santa's Village, Polar Caves Park, and other family attractions. Make a splash at water parks
indoors and out. Learn how sap becomes syrup as winter yields to spring. Photograph the purple lupines that carpet New Hampshire roadsides in June, or the pumpkin people who invade Jackson as
Halloween looms.
And if your idea of "peak bagging" is filling shopping bags with designer deals, the White Mountains will delight you, too. North Conway is home to dozens of outlet stores, and sales-tax-free New
Hampshire is your place to score more for your shopping dollars.
2 nights in Jackson at the Christmas Farm Inn (Includes Breakfast):
The Christmas Farm Inn & Spa is a charming, historic inn dating back to 1778 with award-winning gardens, set on a 15 acre White Mountain Estate. Part jail, part church, part farm house - few country inns have as rich a history as the Christmas Farm Inn. This inn provides a quintessential New England experience, with rooms in a colonial Main Inn, a Cape Cod-style Salt Box, a Barn, and charming Cottages.
The historic Main Inn, built in 1786, has rich burnished, wide-plank floors and an authentic wood-fueled fireplace.
The Carriage House is set high on a hillside above the main inn, with luxury suites and a full-service spa.
The 1778 Salt Box, adjacent to the Main Inn, is a nod to the inn's colonial heritage.
Possibly one of the oldest structures on the property, the Christmas Farm Inn Barn's original haylofts have been converted into four large two-story condo-like spaces. One-of-a-kind
Cottages dot the sloping hillside. Each is arafully handcrafted and reminiscent of an old-fashioned New England Village
Days 9, 10 & 11: Meredith, New Hampshire (50 Miles)
With more than 250 distinct lakes and ponds, the Lakes Region lives up to its billing. This is New Hampshire's headquarters for boating, paddleboarding, fishing, and swimming.
Lake Winnipesaukee, with its squiggly 180-mile shore, is the largest—a big blue gem in the heart of it all—and each of Winni’s lakeside communities moves to its own beat. Weirs Beach beckons with its
boardwalk, train rides, and family amusements. Meredith offers beaches, boat launches, and a boutique winery. In Moultonborough, tour Castle in the Clouds and go horseback riding on the
estate's phenomenal grounds. Then hike the Loon Center's Loon Nest Trail, and find loon souvenirs among the eclectic wares at the nation's oldest store. Visit museums in Wolfeboro; then get out on
the lake on a Jet Ski or paddleboard or with a diving tank.
Squam Lake is in second place when we rank New Hampshire lakes by size, but it's been golden since its star turn in the 1981 movie On Golden Pond. Squam Lakes Natural Science Center in
Holderness offers wildlife-viewing lake cruises. And some of the Lakes Region's loveliest B&Bs are on or near Squam's shores.
But it's not just family attractions that lure travelers. The Lakes Region is a land of traditions, as well. Riders have returned year after year for more than nine decades for Laconia Motorcycle
Week. The Barnstormers Theatre in Tamworth has been staging memorable performances each summer since 1931. The old-fashioned Sandwich Fair, first held in 1886, draws crowds each
Columbus Day weekend.
3 nights in Meredith at the Inn at Bay Point:
Perched on the water’s edge of Lake Winnipesaukee, the rooms feature rich, mahogany accents and plush, down bedding. Guests may use the pools at nearby Mill Falls or Church Landing. The inn also
offers Kayak Rentals, Sailboat Lessons and Antique Boat Rides on a restored 1937 Chris Craft. In the winter months one can enjoy skating on the ice rink and sipping hot cocoa, weekend bonfires and
horse drawn wagon rides through the village.
Days 12, 13 & 14: Portsmouth, New Hampshire (60 Miles)
A quiet, soothing beach one day, a rollicking one the next … A stroll through history … A sea star cradled in your hand … A sunset cruise with lighthouse views … A restored Victorian grand hotel
when you're craving a romantic escape … A brick brewery turned boutique inn when you're roadtripping with your coolest friends. Our ocean shoreline may be a mere 13 miles long (18 if you add in our
islands), but Seacoast New Hampshire rivals any New England coastal destination.
You'll find Seacoast New Hampshire the perfect place to "seas" the day, the weekend, an entire week—especially if your idea of "carpe diem" includes concerts, cute coastal towns, and the catch of the
day prepared in infinitely enticing ways.
In New Hampshire, we believe that the shore was meant to be shared, and you may be surprised by how much of our Atlantic frontage is accessible to the public. Not only are our sandy beaches inviting
and affordable, but our waters are some of the cleanest in the country, as well. Hampton Beach isn't just a lively all-ages destination with a classic boardwalk, water-view dining, charitable
gambling, and high-caliber performances at the historic Casino Ballroom. With a five-star
rating for water quality from the Natural Resources Defense Council, it's a place where parents can feel confident introducing kids to the exhilarating weightlessness of bodysurfing and boogie
boarding.
The Seacoast Region's most historic city, Portsmouth, is the best-value urban destination on the New England coast. A walkable city that simultaneously embraces old and new, Portsmouth draws visitors
with its museums, historic sites, and cultural attractions, plus sophisticated dining and eclectic boutique shops. When you don't have to pay a small fortune for lodging, parking, and taxis, you can
splurge on unique finds—and pay no sales tax in New Hampshire to boot.
But don't overlook the lesser-known southeastern New Hampshire towns, either. Find family-friendly beaches in Rye. Explore New Castle's Fort Constitution State Historic Site. Plan a leisurely
scenic drive through old mill towns between Exeter and Dover, stopping for breakfast at Newfields General Store, where the community has shopped for provisions since 1896.
3 nights in Portsmouth at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside:
The Sheraton Porstmouth is a full-service hotel across from Portsmouth Harbor and a short stroll away from all that this hip and historic community has to offer. Hotel amenities include an indoor pool, fitness facility, and redwood sauna. It also provides easy access to the area's nearby beaches, golf courses, and hiking trails.
Guest rooms are a spacious 325 sq ft and feature a Sweet Sleeper bed, Shine by Bliss Amenities and mini bar.
Day 15: To Boston, Massachusetts (80 Miles)
En route to Logan Airport, drive along the New Hampshire Coastline before crossing over the State border and into Massachussetts, stop for photos along the stunning Cape Ann coast, a rocky cape
in northeastern Massachusetts on the Atlantic Ocean. Then head for Salem and Visit a Witch Museum, time for some lunch before heading to Boston Logan airport to drop your car and take your
flight home.
